Philosophy

Pigmentation can be a result of exposure to UV rays, fluctuation in hormones, medications or certain traumas to the skin.  Through extensive research and product development we have formulated products that give skin a healthy glow.

Our Philosophy for pigmentation focuses on four key areas to help achieve a luminous, radiant glow!

  • Surface Exfoliation
  • Suppress Melanocyte Activity
  • Cellular Repair and Protection
  • Lighten & Brighten

Surface Exfoliation

As we continue to increase surface exfoliation, skin cells are sloughed off, revealing a brighter, complexion.  Incorporating key ingredients like Mandelic Acid, Retinaldehydes, Flower Acids, and Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids can help boost exfoliation.

Suppress Melanocyte Activity

Pigmentation is created by many triggers and pathways in the skin.  By using superior brightening agents like Daisy Flower Extract, Kojic Acid, L-Arbutin, Niacinamide, Resveratrol and others, we can reduce melanocyte activity, targeting the 3 different pathways – Tyrosinase activity, Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone, and Melanosome Transfer.  This leads to a reduction in existing pigmentation, evening skin tone and improving clarity.

Cellular Repair and Protection

Whenever skin is under attack, cellular breakdown occurs.  In pigmented skin due to the exposure to the environment, hormonal imbalances and previous wounds, cellular repair is much needed.  Incorporating reparative stem cells like Edelweiss, Gardenia, Swiss Apple and others this helps not only repair, but increase protection at the cellular level.

UV exposure is another area that needs to be addressed.  By incorporating natural, physical sun protectants – Zinc and Titanium Dioxide – along with potent antioxidants, skin has a natural shield of protection against future attacks.

Lighten & Brighten

A luminous, glowing complexion is what everyone wants!  Infuse skin with Vitamin C, Mandelic and Phytic Acids, Plantain Leaf and other key ingredients to achieve a lighter, brighter and healthier glow!
